This is pure irony!
First they give the SCP-1O an ER-PPC but no DHS's and now the Scorpion gets its DHS's but carries an LB-X. Arrrgh...!
May it as it be this variant is a usable crit-seeker using cluster ammo and SRM's but its also completely ammo dependant.
The light engine is a very good idea as the Scorpion keeps its speed but has some tonnage left for armor and weapons without taking a dangerous XL.

I say cull the SRM6 for more lasers as back up and more LB-10x ammo. This thing deserves a good back up weapon and the 6 pak, while nice, is not good here.

It does not need to be more ammo dependent as it is.

Pretty good in my opinion. Better than the earlier designs, but it still fits into the scout hunting area. Jeep it to light and medium mech skirmishes, and it will do fine. Tke it against a Marauder, and your asking for trouble. A good hunter.

This is a pretty fair set up. I can easily see this being used to kill elementals, and maybe even spar with mechs lighter than itself.
Probably not the best thing to use to go Atlas hunting, though.
Keep some ammo magazines handy, too. When the LBX and SRMs run dry, this thing is a little bit more than 55 tons of 'Kick Me' sign.
