Overview:
Named as an insult to Clan Coyote's enemies in Clan Cloud Cobra (likening their words to
"snakes spitting venom"), the Spitting Cobra is an early third-generation Assault OmniMech
primarily used for fire support roles. Its weapons are usually mounted in the long arm pods
for the best firing angles, which are durable enough to be used as a blunt instrument in
dezgra melee combat, and it has the maximum possible armor for its weight class so it
has no fear of being out in the open. Several configurations also give it Jump Jets to
maximize its mobility.
The Inner Sphere would give it the callsign of "Arrowhead" for its common role of being a
frontline marksman.
