Overview:
The Basilisk is a heavy tracked artillery vehicle designed for long-range indirect fire
support. Originally developed as a siege platform for prolonged planetary conflicts, the
vehicle combines a durable chassis with a turret-mounted Thumper artillery cannon. While
lightly armed for close defense, the Basilisk excels at destroying fortified positions and
supporting advancing formations from extreme range.
Capabilities:
The Basilisk provides reliable long-range fire support against entrenched infantry, light
vehicles, and static defenses. Its Thumper artillery system allows indirect bombardment over
vast distances while remaining outside direct enemy engagement range. A front-mounted
machine gun offers minimal anti-infantry protection against raiding forces and battle armor.
Deployment:
Basilisk batteries are commonly deployed behind the main battle line alongside
