On the plus-side:
Very heavy armor, JJ´s and a good weaponloadout with acceptable range (for 3025)
On the minus-side:
While firing both large lasers it gets too hot quickly and it´s soooo ugly! |

This 'Mech is a very powerful infighter with thick armour and good mobility, but it lacks any long range firepower and you need to be careful with heat management. In open terrain the enemy can also avoid contact with Crockett thanks to it's lower speed, but heavy armour can help it shake off many hits and two large lasers and AC are hard to avoid. Two large SRM racks provide nice backup, but the small lasers are next to useless, because the pilot usually has something better to do than overheating even more with the can openers. nice machine, but the SLs should be replaced with another heat sink... Aside from having the SLs for the purposes of training I can't see any meaningful use for them. |

Although crippled at long range when compare to the original Starleague variant, this trainer mech is still no pushover.
Its a good mugger in closer ranged fights and a flying 85 ton dump truck will surely raise some eyebrows. The armor is exceptionally thick and the mech can easily brawl with the best of them thanks to its jjs.

It runs really hot, and is really crippled at long range. A far cry from the Star League era version. Still, it could be worse. |

Excellent Mech. Only suffers from a lack of range. And the pestilential small lasers.
Otherwise, it packs a nice array of weapons that ought to give pause to most that would face it.
The double SRM-6s up close make this is a tough brawler especially when its mated to that thick hide that's a trademark of the Crockett. |
