No ammo, bad armour, mediocre heat management. You pay for two UAC/20s that won't be doing much. |

The TRO 3059 fluff stated that the mechwarriors fighting in the HBK IIC often fought with fecrocity rarely even see in Clan mechwarriors.
Clearly a last chance mech for most clan mechwarriors to regain honor. This is their only chance in hell. Either bring down an assault or die in a proccess. This is your only chance to gain honor.
So its flashy bang bang but its all good for the mechwarrior who wants to regain honor, anyway, anyhow. |

Its only use is to mug assault mechs in cities. Other than that its most a garrison mech you'd use to cover a support star. Course with Zelbringe your mostly screwed in any fight since you can't be helped by star mates most of the time.
More for scaring greeny opponents than anything. |

Its a National Guard mech, make no mistake. The weapons look good, but dont have the ammo to go the distance.
As is, its more for shock value than anything else. Newbies fear the AC/20, and when they see something that carries two UAC 20s, theyl just about surrender on the spot.
Im not really wild about this mech. All flash and not much bang. |

Heh! Unfortunately, this Hunchback has more deficiencies than it does advantages. You only have enough ammo for 2.5 rounds of fire at the double rate. On the other hand, if you hit, 2.5 rounds of fire is all you need. It's a bit of a hothead too, but you don't carry enough ammo to get into too much trouble with heat. Jump jets are an entirely defensive measure (or desperation measure if you go for Death from Above attacks). The slow speed is a major liability however, given the weak armor, short range of the autocannons, and easily availability of long range weapons systems among the Clans. Most Clan 'mechs will simply be able to stand off and take this Hunchback at long range. It's a fun design though, and a challenge. |
