More firepower and less ammo dependance than the original -6S but the real problems are not adressed by this variant: low LRM ammo and armor. A full blow of the 3 heavy weapons will get you some heat too. |

The original variant (according to fluff the 6T is the first model produced) of Zeus is much better suited for sniping role. The LRM ammo load is still light, but it can be used only when it's really needed because the 'Mech has enough firepower to threaten the enemy without the help of it's missile launcher. Too bad that the PPC caused problems, because the 6T usually outperforms the 6S. |

I am ZEUS, God of LIghtening! this version fullfils its namesake a bit better than its forerunner. A good solid support mech. I have used it by itself before, and barely survived with my actuators intact. Works very well in a lance. Pound away with LRM's and PPC till you run out of ammo, using the lasers and lance mates to keep attackers at bay. Just needs more ammo and more armor. All in all, a solid design and still worth fielding in the right campaign |

This variant runs warmer but has lesser ammo to carry which is nice for a 3025 mech.
The armor is light for its class but the firepower and speed compensates for this. |

Definately an improvement over the 6S.
The PPC is an excellent replacement for the AC/5 though heat management becomes a little more important.
Armour's still a little light while the rear-firing laser is a tad odd.
Great in lances of its own.
