This is much too slow for a Charger! ;)
For unexperienced players this (real) assault would be very deadly:
"Oh, look! It´s only a Charger!"

The firepower of four large lasers is hard to stand. Continuous barrages will make it hot fast but the 4-3-4 tactic is deadly though.
Drawback: a five on the heatscale will bring you down to a creeping 2/3.

This isn't Charger. It's an oversized Flashman. If you exchange the ML for another heat sink then you'll get a slow, but deadly energy barrage 'Mech. Technically it's an Awesome with additional damage, and shorter range.
It should be easy to use, just waltz to range and blast like mad. Most enemies will run for cover and those who stay want an epic fight. |

This Charger is almost underhanded, no one is going to sit up and take notice, until u walked up into their face and fire 4 large lasers.
After that, they WILL want to kill you. Thankfully the mech has the armor and heatsinks to mess around with the enemy. |

This is really related to the Awesome, not the Charger.
It should have a radically different name.
But that doesn't distract from the fact that it can work major pain on whomever it pleases. 4 Large Lasers is a sight to see in this era and this Mech manages it well. |

The best charger out there in 3025...
Course you need cover from PPCs or LRMs if your going to get your LLs into range without getting hammered.
For an opening round suprise for people used to ignoring Chargers it will pick up kills. But sooner or later someone is going to catch on.
I'd use this mech once in a blue moon just to keep people fearing chargers. |
