The Hatamoto is based on the Charger chassis and so is a huge improvement but If i would introduce a new mech around 3050 that carries 2 PPC´s as main weaponry i would have taken DHS´s instead of the ES so i can use old Charger parts and fire my PPC´s without worrying.
Despite this it has full armor, CASE and a standard engine and so is hard to take down and any opponent will pay dearly for doing so. |

Well, there coul have been worse uses of the Charger chassis than turning it into a cheap Thug copy. And it's japanese styled. I'm not sure if this was at the time of it's conception some kind of a joke, but it tured up pretty well and the result is a solid 'Mech that can take a beating and reply in kind. It can keep up with heavy elements and keep going after lesser machines fall. Overall a very solid machine that's sadly a comy of an even more powerful beast. Plus it's a Kuritan toy *bias* |

A very solid mech. As others have noted, it is very like the Thug, and for good reason. I'd prefer double heat sinks, but that can always be a field mod with salvage :D
Still, this is a good ride, one I dread facing. |

The best thug out there. Wait a second its called something else. Oh well.
For a transition mech its awesome. Those that complain about heat, give them PHX-1Xs in 3025 and tell them to win a fight. Its all about resource management when you have a real heat scale.
Its a nice machine, I'd pilot one for the dragon any day. I just wish those were doubles so I could turn this into a real beast. But, I am a soldier and I will kill with this many times over. |

i like this Mech. however i would drop 3 heat sinks add double heat sinks and turn the SRM6 to streak. i think that would of been a better improvement. |
