A cheap, easy to do and effective upgrade of the venerable -5S.
The CASE / Standard engine combination makes it a very tough opponent. The same good and versatile weaponmix with some advancements and enough heatsink to fire it all.
Superb, and it isn´t even maxed! |

Now, that's how an upgrade should look like. It's even tougher thanks to the addition of CASE and it's armour is just five points under maximum. It can't get any better in this area. With new laser it has enough punch to be a threat at long range even in 3050's and at short range it still has it's trusty trio of medium lasers. The streak SRMs were robbed of the ability to launch infernos in later editions of the rules, so I'd replace them with standard models to increase the number of options you have and to add some armour. with heat no longer troubling the pilot you can do whatever you want on the field without having to fear that you'll do anything wrong. I'd prefer adding having more firepower with two range brackets to the ability to fire everything at once, but I'm still giving this a 5 for being just as cool as it's predecessor was. |

This is perhaps my favorite Inner Sphere heavy upgrade from 3025, and a real beast in its own right. It will get the job down, no questions asked. Good spread of weapons to deal with all kinds of threats. |

I love this TDR. All about the perfect upgrade. Just like the original TDR it owns all on the battlefield. |

The Merc man's heavy/command mech. Its cheap and effective. The weaponary isnt very flashy but it will do the job which is all good.
Armor is very thick and the amount of heatsink is very good as well even though i seriously doubt u can even feel a heat spike.
It would have gotten a 5 if it had a flamer instead of MGs which adds more ammo to detonate. You got to show infantry the meaning of fear by burning things in their face. =) |
