Some good changes on this one like JJ´s and streaks but on the other side it is a bit oversinked for my taste.
And what is that AMS and flamer for? It needs LRM-ammo instead.

Why THAT low rating? Well, Liao Catapult manged to do the same work in 3025 without any of the high tech junk. That's why. The tonnage freed by the XL engine was wasted on many trinkets that turn this thing to an over priced Swiss army knife. AMS started to be useful with new edition, but this was designed before that, so the designers clearly wasted tonnage (I still rate AMS positively). The flamer is fancy, but I would rather have more MGs, or no MGs and another Zippo. Single MG with 100 shots is a waste. Streaks are another choice that seems useless, because with XL engine you don't want your ammo to stay. LRMs on the other hand are still lacking any serious supply of missiles and after 8 turns you have to hop toward the enemy and hope that the armour will save your XL butt while you try to kill the enemy with nothing less than 2 MLs, 2 small streaks and the ultra-deadly flamer / MG combo. JJs and CASE are welcome, but that's hardly enough to make a good 'Mech. If I found some use for the 3L then I can't find any for this in Marik service. It's even worse than not upgraded, it's bothched! |

Junk the flamer, MG, and MG Ammo, upgrade the SRMs to Streak 4s, and then I'll drive it. Would be a near last choice ride though. |

Marik had some good ideas here and tried to run with all of them on one chassis. That doesn't really work. Stick to one or two weapons ideas. Not like 5, 3 of them ammoed.
Also overly heavy on the heat sinks. Something about the crusader just seems to make it that way in every house. |

There is nothing on this 'mech which justifies the expense or risk of an XL engine. This "upgrade" is an overpriced death trap. |
