The LB10-X replacing the old AC/10 is a good idea and solves the ammo shortage of the original but in a 3050 environment thats much too little upgrade here. At least now the heatsinks had to be removed for something useful. |

There was an upgrade in AC range and ammo load, but that's hardly enough to keep the 'Mech's performance in 3050's. It's still over-sinked, and I think that with six tons you should be able to get something more... what about a gauss rifle...? |

This actually has similar, but less, firepower than the Wolf Trap and the 3025 Griffin. While the heavy armor and standard engine are nice, this mech does not have the firepower to be moving 4/6/0 and the standard engine is sitting right on top of 24 LRM-5 salvos. At least there are plenty of expendable heat sinks that might absorb critical hits.
The 6 single heat sinks are the most incomprehensible part of this "upgrade". Why spend all that money on a shiny new LB 10-X and waste six tons on nothing? Not even CASE? Sometimes additional single heat sinks make sense, but they didn't in the original Hoplite, and they certainly don't here.
This mech is weak for 3025; against modern designs it's just a waste of a nice cannon. |

Can we say "downgrade" kiddies? Man, what were the designers of this thing ON anyways? LRM-5 is just a paper cut weapon here, and the LBX does not have the staying power a medium mech needs.... |

Now this is just plain stupid. You have sixteen single heat sinks that you don't need, and you downgrade the LRM rack to make room for more armor. Wolf's Dragoons deserved to be killed off by the Wobblies if this is the sort of upgrades they're putting out. |
