This is the original HBK-4G. A dumb tech only had mounted DHS instead of the standard ones. Because he didn´t want to loose face he dubbed it the -5N, a brandnew variant.
It is as good as the original but as an upgrade it is not acceptable. |

And the reason to upgrade the 4G to this is...?
As Rudel said this is no real upgrade. Replace the unused DHSs with something useful and we'll have a talk. |

Drop the small laser, CASE the ammo and I might give it a better rating.
Better yet do that too drop 3 heat sinks, and add another ton of ammo and 2 more medium lasers.
Otherwise this mech isn't enough of an upgrade to really be worth taking. As the 3025 version is better in most ways. |

A good design that would be much better with CASE instead of the small laser. This is an excellent in fighter, and very cheap. Good mech to throw in defense of cities. Capable of defeating even an assault mech in the right conditions this mech, while being slow and very short ranged is a killer. |
