There is probably a reason why Phelan Kell loves his Wolfhound. This is probably why. In the hands of a 0/0 pilot like Phelan, this thing has spell doom to many Clan lights and IS mediums as well. |

I can't say that I like the addition of XL engine to second line chassis, especially when the original didn't have one, but I must admit that this 'Mech has an impressive armament and armor load. This would be a dream machine for 3025 Panther pilots since it surpasses their ride in every aspect with the exception of Jump Jets. I'm not sure who builds this variant, but I think that he, whoever it is, got his hands on a worthy opponent to clan lighter omnis. This is an excellent scout hunter, since it can out-range or out-gun almost any machine I can recall at the moment, and it will also serve well as a striker harasser or as a part of a deep penetration commando. |

A good design, not the be-all and end-all by any stretch, but good in a fight. I used it once, had Lady Luck on my side, and took down an Orion and almost a Victor before a gauss in the spine.
Use with forethought and caution, and it will take you places. |

All I can say is that 2nd line units will worship having something like this. Not only will it give front line light OMNIs fits, it will also chew through most medium omnis if it can close to its weapons range.
For a clan mech it has a lot of armour. |

An excellent scout/harraser mech this clannerized WolfHound is one of my favorite light designs.Good heat management.Dosent overheat often. Good for taking out freebirth scum at range. |
