As an upgrade this sucks. The Jenner, as much as i like it, has two problems: low armor and heatdissipation. And this addresses none of them. Ok, now it has CASE but i doubt that this is enough in a 3050 environment. At least DHS would have been a must. |

The Jenner has different role in 3050. Since the combine is leaving dueling practices in this era the Jenner serves well as a swarmer. Getting in the middle of whirling group composed of Jenners can be a nightmare for many pilots. The CASE may be an useful addition that makes the 'Mech salvageable = expendable and easy to repair. It's a solid weapon system for DCMS and it allows the pilot to experience the true meaning of saying "My life for the Combine!" before the coordinator. |

One of those 3050 minimalist upgrades, little diffrent from the original. Fluffwise it makes sense, the JR7-D assembly lines can pump these out with virtually no modification, and the CASE is a reasonable trade for a single point of armor.
Past 3050, this would need something more to make it competitive. DHS, full jump, more armor- something to compensate for the heavier/more accurate firepowr it will be facing.. |

I love Jenners, but I only have one thing to say about this one : Endo - Steel. And Double Heat Sinks. Okay, that was more than one thing. Add two more jump jets and a half ton of armor with the savings from the endo and you are ready for some nice, deadly action. |

If I was to go to the trouble of refitting my old Jenners I wouldn't just add CASE and ferro-weave; unfortunately though, there really is not too much else you can add. The Jenner is a very gun-heavy 'mech for it's size, meaning your other options are rather limited. |
