A -3S with an ECM.
What is it good for?
To protect the mech itself because of the weak armor?
To cancel out an enemy -3S?
To protect lancemates that are under heavy fire? Bad idea with only 45 points of armor.
Again rip out the MASC and get it some more armor. |

Yes, it has the ECM now, but that makes it useful only as a cover for tight formations of fast light 'Mechs, and even then it would use more armor rather than the MASC. If it tries to cover slower units or to keep the enemy under interdiction then it has to slow down and you can imagine the results. Not a good infestation in pulse laser era... |

Same issue as with the 3S except its going to attract fire faster due to the interruption in music the enemy pilots suffer when it comes into range. |

This is just a 3S with the probe changed to an ECM. The same comments I made on the 3S apply here, dropping armor for masc is just stupid! Personally I'd rather have the probe than the ECM, but its not bad. |

Guys, this mech needs -armor-, not an ECM suite. Once your opponent figures out that this thing has ECM and is jamming some of his weapons, this mech is going to get taken down hard, and it doesnt have the armor to survive anything bigger than a large laser. |
