Arguably the best Clan medium to ever walk the field. God it is so dangerous that almost no IS (it's load out is equal to 2 PPCs and 3 Large lasers with 0 overheat) mech will match it in performance.
One of the canon munch medium mech and a godsend to any IS pilot who obtains this as his ride. |

6/9/0 speed, nearly full armor and relatively good internal space distribution. Even the base chassis smells of min-maxing (works for me, but it should be used with caution).
Stormcrow Prime is pure energy boat that can out gun almost anything it can't outrun (and outlast many more thanks to it's armor). The fluff in the original TRO talked about how the IS was unprepared for a 'Mech with ER medium and large lasers in each arm and heat sinks to use them... in IS terms it should be that IS was unprepared for a 6/9/0 55 ton beast with full armor and armament equal to 2 ERPPCs and three large lasers that it can use on the run and piloted by clan sharp-shooters. Gods of the IS it's still over-sinked! The only thing that saves it from being called totally muchkinictic is the fact that the clans have machines that can match the firepower of this beast and the IS should be able to kill it by sheer strength of numbers.
Be extra careful when you field this if you want to have fun. |

One of my favorite medium mechs. The ryoken has good speed, armor and firepower. The lasers allow a person to hit at all ranges and the amount of dhs allows a person to fire without worrying about overheating |

MMMM, can we say *munch munch munch* this is the canon Munchy mech for the medium class. Still, it IS a good design, and I don't complain when I end up with it in a random roll. However its too munchy for me to choose on purpose. |

The PRIME variant of this wonderful omni is rather bland. No heat, great range, no ammo. It will definitely do its job, but the pilot finds himself not having to worry about several things that actually make the game so interesting to play!
