This configuration is the type of 'Mech you would receive for a trial of position for khanship in Mechwarrior II (opposition consists of three Dire Wolves and the Marauder IIC) = useless. Don't touch this, don't even think about it... and execute the designer who created this junk. |

This is almost an encyclopedia of bad design choices. Any one of them, by itself, would be irritating, but not insurmountable. In combination, they create one of the few front line omnis that is weaker than most IS designs of the same weight.
This must have been meant as a handicap mech for experienced players or characters when facing newbies. It can't be taken seriously as a real configuration. |

The Gauss is simply too heavy a weapon for the Nova to carry. Insufficient ammo, insufficient back up. Small pulses should generally be replaced with ER meds wherever you find them, and SRMs on front line Omnis ought to be Streaks. There's no way to salvage this without changing it completely. Forget about this one stick with other configurations. |

A strange set of weapons. Maybe as a duelist it would work. But 8 reloads is far far too few to be effective for a campaign or extended engagement.
Just repod it rather than put up with this mechs unique weapons load. |

Gauss Rifles are nice weapons, but the Small Pulse Laser should be dropped for an ER Medium Laser. The Gauss is kinda underammoed too, which would make me want to drop this config altogether. |
