Okay, it may have some use as a special munition delivery system, but the small launcher size doesn't look like an advantage to me. Neither do the Artemis IV FCS systems. They are wasted on such small launchers since the difference is negligible and special munitions are mostly not compatible with them. I would rather fit the 'Mech with two LRM 10s and two additional small lasers. Heat sink potential is also wasted on this one. A waste of resources on legs. |

As stated below, this is one great tactical fighter, use FASCAM from the LRMs and also Swarm missiles. Keep her back and pick enemies off at range, the LRM's can be suprisingly infuriating for an enemy, try and draw them into a charge and into the mine fields. Then let your big guns rip them down.
Mechs like this look bad, but are handy in the right situation, the Artemis add to its effect greatly. |

Maybe if you wanted something for laying FASCAM in enemy territory you might pod this up. The Artemis means most of those LRMs will actually be on target, but for a straight up hit and run 'mech I'd rather have the concentrated hit of an ER PPC than something that's going to scatter LRMs all over the place. |

Useful for a hit and run strafing type attack. But kind of limited in uses for the regular types of campaigns most of us fight.
Few designs can keep up with it effectively if you send it against the IS though so it will work for a short while. Then you'll need to capture an ammo dump or something. |

I have used this variant to successfully take down more than one heavier mech (up to 65 tons) to good effect. The key here is quick medium ranged strafing style run by attacks to get good to hit mods against you while being close enough to be effective. This takes a skilled pilot and some room to manuver, but with a mech this fast you better have at least 2x2 maps anyways. |
