A sniper that belongs to many 3050 machines that must thank Total Warfare for turning pulse lasers to useful weapons. Keep this on the move and the enemy will hate you. The combination of long range energy weapon, superior speed augmented by Jump Jets and good armor turns the Viper B to great sniper. |

This is a killer for it's weight. The backup weapons are of minimal use against other mechs; this design shouldn't get close enough to use them often. Replacing the smalls with a medium pulse or 2 ER meds would have netted this a 5.
As it is, pilot would be well advised to retreat if he ever lost the ER PPC. |

The best of a bad bunch. Keep jumping your max and firing the ER PPC and make sure to land in cover.
After that your going to beat just about anything thats slower than you without too much trouble.
Just remember that this is strictly a scout hunting design. You don't want to tangle with Heavies or Assaults.
Unless you raid IS supply depots or fight unarmoured infantry often your not going to use the pulses or flamer. |

The PPC is a nice stand off weapons, but the small pulses should be replaced with 2 ERML and 2 more DHS. The Flamer should also be dropped for a DHS. But then thats the beauty of an Omni, I can repod any way I please :D |

I love the PPC and the movement; I would get rid of those small pulse lasers though and replace with AMS or electronics. Still, great for picking slower 'mechs apart at long range. |
