This Viper config. clearly shows that a 'Mech can be dangerous even with limited space available. Just be careful with heat management and scouts will tremble when you appear on the battlefield. A 40t chassis with spider-like mobility, almost full armor and firepower near to five IS large lasers and backed by a crit. seeker can scare even heavies. Just be careful to pick not only the targets, but the battlefield as well, since having some cover where it can cool down will be handy. When you expect armored opposition without conventional support then this config. is the one to choose. |

The ultimate in fighter for scout mechs. Personally this mech can gut just about anyone in a city fight as it will easily get into the rear area.
The downside is that this mech lacks the long range weaponry you usually expect of clan medium mechs. |

This is Death Incarnate on Steroids for a 40 tonner. Great movement profile, wicked short to medium ranged punch, and with that movement profile it has no trouble getting into weapons range either. One of the better clan rides for its weight/speed profiles. |

An infighter par excellance, although you will have some heat issues. Still, the jump jets will preserve mobility, and the ER Lasers provide almost as much punch as the heavier Black Hawk in practice. This 'mech can also operate in open country by virtue of its superior speed. |

This mech has a good future ahead of it as a city fighter. The close quarters is ideal for the weapons loadout here. Try to avoid open terrain as much as posible, this mech just doesnt have the weapons to defend itself. |
