Strange configuration. The ER laser / ultra AC are nice tools for harassment of bigger 'Mechs and they don't produce too much heat, but the problem is in backup weapons. What for does the 'Mech need 100 reloads for streak SRM 2s is a mystery to me. These weapons are ill- suited to fight anything, so maybe that it's a remnant of an age of streak infernos (then the SRMs would turn to deadly infantry and vehicle killers), but now these weapons lost their purpose. I would prefer dropping them completely and going for bigger AC along with more ammo for it. I'll drop this review with average rating, because I think that this configuration is a victim of rules development, rather than poor designing skills, but under current rules it would deserve lower rating, 2.0 at best, but under BattleTech Compendium it would deserve 3.5. |

I just don't understand autocannons on light mechs- they're far too heavy to be efficient. That Ultra-AC 5 should be replaced with a LRM-20, two tons of ammo and a DHS, the Streak SRM-2's replace with a Streak SRM-6. The mech would still hold heat well, have improved firepower, and not have that obnoxious ultra jam that always seems to happen on the first double shot. An inferior configuration of a superior chassis. |

To start, they need so get rid of a ton of SRM ammo and replace it with more firepower for that ammo-hog Ultra AC. Beyond that, this is O.K., but lets face it...if you're going to take one of these you want the primary model. |

I've never really been satisfied with the Command Puma. Just repodding the thing is usually best.
Stripping out the streaks for some lasers would improve the situation measurably though. |

The weapon loadout is excellent for a light mech but the speed is still to slow. It has far reaching punch with the ER large laser and the UAC |
