The Adder B is a good example of a general combat machine. It's equipped with nice mix of energy and projectile weapons that allows it to act as a long range harasser (clans are known for their love of long rage combat), but when it comes to close range it can still deal a respectable amount of damage with above average accuracy and without overheating too much (rare feat for clan 'Mechs). Speed may be just average, but armor and weapons loadout outweight this. It's a good chicefor most situations, but I would be careful in restrictive terrain since the 'Mech doesn't have Jump Jets that would allow it to flee and it's weapons, while impressive for a light machine, lack the power to deal with heavies and well armored mediums that it may encounter there and their range is effectively negated, since they are direct fire only. |

A solid design that's easy on the heat gauge. Like all Puma variants it suffers in comparison with the prime though. |

The kind of scout mech you wish you had, and that your opponents could never get their hands on.
The Large Pulse is the scary weapon on this machine because rarely will you see too many misses with it, which makes it more dangerous than any PPC most days.
I wonder about the flamer most days though, it really seems to be unnecessary. Another half ton of LB-X ammo would be a blessing as 20 shells always runs out far too fast.
Then again ammo weapons never get any respect as either its too much or too little. |

A good all round Puma which could easily excell at anti light mech duties. The pulse laser withers away armour before the LBXAC chinks at the criticals. |

Nice combat mech. Good in many different situations and not easy to kill either. Nice weapon mix, not bad heat dissipation. My only gripe is the speed, I like any light to be at least a 7 walking. Oh well, thats just me, 6/9 isnt bad and the mech does what its supposed to. |
