Even in my MW2 days, this was my favourite configuration. Somehow, it seems to combine a lot of positive traits: long range, serious throw weight, yet a lower threat status than configurations A, E, W, etc. This is also reflected in its BV2 which, at 1142, borders on the low end of standard variants. All in all, this configuration is recommended, as long as the pilot remembers the dire limitations of the chassis and the fact that in no way can he avoid dangerous return fire (unlike the Primary configuration). |

Dropping the Narc for a medpulse and a medium will make this thing ridiculously dangerous ! Good thing about Omnis is that you can repod them to your fancy. |

Not bad, but nothing outstanding either. Twin LRM 15s are nothing to scoff at, but there is no backup and the secondary weapon systems are a little weird. I think that the small LRM is a special ammo delivery system, creating smoke or fire when the Kit Fox needs to relocate or retreat. Narc is purely defensive here, closing to range with it is a suicide and it's low on ammo, but it may increase your damage potential in case that the enemy tries to close on you. Stay back and bombard the enemy. Foolish bravery will be often rewarded with death. |

A nifty, light missle boat, with the speed to get into firing positions fairly quickly.
Capable of launching a totoal of 35 LRMs, thats enough damage to total most light mechs, cripple medium mechs, and make heavy and assault mechs take notice.
Of course, that kind of damage potential is going to garner attention, and thus ordinance.
The NARc beacon is probably the weak point of the mech. The range isnt that great, and forces the mech to move to close range to get a NARC lock. You may have a chance of doing this and surviving against light and medium mechs. Anything else is going to kill you.
Still, park a couple of these on a hill top and watch the fireworks. |

I'd rather have a different variant but this mech is a serious LRM support unit. I'd argue that the Narc is a waste and should be replaced with 3 ER mediums to do some serious butt kicking for goodness.
Other than that its a nice design which would complement the Guass rifle toting A variant. |
