To make it short, this variant is not good. When going for an AC2 on a light(ish) ‘Mech, the LB-X is an imperative. The Arctic Cheetah B, for example does abide by that rule – and is still one of the weaker configurations of that 'Mech!
There are no redeeming qualities for this UAC2-armed machine. |

This Mech can be pretty annoying, but I can't see any meaningful reason to have it when you can field the C configuration. Perhaps it is meant to offer support to the infantry, but still it's nothing the C couldn't handle. The UAC/2 doesn't make much sense to me either. You can get similar performance from the LB 2-X and it would be more reliable and with better range and accuracy. Nothing exceptional here, maybe it can find some use as a harasser and against tank formations (immobilize the enemy ant then let the Artillery do the work. That's a little un-clan like and this is 3050 unit, but it was designed with older rules, so it could destroy the tanks, not just scratch their camo...) |

Not useful as the U AC 2 is a long range sniper gun and the BAP is short ranged scouting equipment.
So your sort of at odds with yourself on that kind of split. Get yourself an energy weapon for your main gun and all of a sudden you've got a viable pod set.
Don't expect this variant to do more than just annoy your enemy. |

Kind of a poor weapon choice here. Other than that its a great design. Just repod your weapons and voila, perfect! LOL, of course thats true with most OmniMechs :D |

A decent sniper design, just hope that the AC doesnt jam on you. Potential, here, but you have to know what to look for and how to use it. |
