If you need a dedicated scout hunter this is it. However, it gives up a lot to get this capability. The Prime is a hundred times more versitle.
So you have to pick which pod set up you want. Picked on a whim this variant can do quite well, but the Prime will do much better in cities and the more dangerous close in locals.
Eh, its a toss up really, but I like the twin ER Larges better than in close fighting. Keeps my armour spiffier.

Fast, shooty and able to actually hit something while moving fast.
The range and damage is also fantastic and is really somehting only the Clans could do.
A potent pack hunter, sniper, harasser and socut hunter.

It's like a ground based Pack Hunter with even better sniper abilities. It just runs a little too hot for my tastes. To take full advantage of it's maneuverability and targeting computer it has to alternate fire.

A real nice light mech, its like a mini awesome. A real sniper mech, it overheats just slightly. So you fire with both lasers for two turns before switching to the one, allowing your mech to cool and to move to another position. Its got the speed to outrun anything it cant outgun. And the weaponary to knockout even Is mediums and heavies.

My personal favorite in this class. The weapons are strong for it's weight, and the extended range does a lot to compensate for the sub-par armor protection. The TC is a nice touch as well. You probably won't use the location targeting very often, but it's nice to be able to notch down the movement penalty a bit. A very nice mobile sniper.
