I agree with Sleeping Dragon. This mech has the same mission profile and almost identical load-out as the Mongoose. Creating novel light mech design is tough when you've only got a few tons to work with, and only so many weapons the chassis can handle. That being said, its a deadly design against most 3025 era lights. |

It's a good machine, but only the fluff sets it apart. In reality, it's something like an up-tonned LCT-1E Locust. However, it's a good overall design with nice armor and good ground speed. It's only real short-coming is one that's hard to avoid: being rather similar to other 'Mechs already in production. |

This 'Mech heavily resembles the Mongoose, which I rated as one of the most dangerous machines in the 3025 TRO (I recall the debate which we had over the design on the boards and that it was made before there was any MON). With thick armour, all energy weapons and high speed you can't be wrong while designing a light, but there is no need for clones of an already existing designs (not considered in the rating due the the reason stated above). |
