This has the potential to be a punishing close-range fighter, with the ER PPC there to peel back an enemy's armor before peppering him with lasers and ATM crit-seekers.
Overall, I like this loadout a lot. Its more interesting than the vanilla laser-boat prime. Excellent heat management; ER PPC and ATMs at long range, lasers and ATMs at short range. A couple more tons of ammo would be useful to fully exploit the ATM's flexibility, but the only place I can see taking that from would be downgrading the pulse lasers to ER models. Maybe with an elite pilot who doesn't need the extra modifier that would be worth it...nice thing about the omni structure is that kind of optimization is easy enough to perform. |

Messing with an Omni's internals is something that goes against the spirit and restrictions of the design, so i will have to thumb this down.
Heat management is much better although i will miss the extra ammo for the ATMs. This mech can be an efficient close ranged design if loaded with HEs but that takes away the fun of ATMs imo.
Another minor nitpick, a Timber Wolf can do the same. And it is easier to reproduce to a NEW Timber Wolf than make a new Omni from scratch. |

Heat management is much better on A configuration, but the ammo load is lighter than 'standard' three tons per launcher, but it carries enough for a trial. The problem I see (as always) is relocation of ES and FF critical positions. That is not allowed (unless the Tech Manual changes that). |

Nice weapon mix. But i ask you again, why does the Timber Wolf (not mad cat you spheroid) need replacing?
A Timber Wolf can carry similar weapons with only the loss of say one MedPulse.
It just doesn't cut it in my book and i don't see the Clans, especially one as conservative as the Ghost Bears, developing a new almost identical design to a tried and proven one just because the chasis is ageing.
