this machine is just waiting to be blown up once you hit the ammo bins it's a gonner. you have 48 rounds of ammo in your left and right arms that's gonna hurt when somebody gets critical hit next thing you know mech goes BOOM. why would you want a XXL engine you get just as much speed from an inner sphere XL engine.
not a good design |

OMG...this thing costs 88 million c-bills (say it in your best Dr. Evil impression)...
The XXL only really makes this slightly more vulnerable than it would be with an inner sphere XL engine; side torso destruction kills the 'mech in either case, whether there's 3 or 4 engine slots there.
What does it need the extra heat sinks for anyway though...

Poor..
Sure it has nice ranged weapons, but they have little ammo.
Also the XXL engine.. what's with you and XXL engines? It's not going to help you move faster with 100 tonners, so that means you're still going to get hit. And with the number of crit spaces a XXL engines takes up, that's a BAD THING (TM).
I bet you a Kraken with LB-2Xs can kill this. |

Fluff is wrong. Only Wolf Dragoons operate Annis. Also 4 Gauss rifles with only 6 tons of ammo is pretty pathetic, each cannon does not even have 16 shots.
Also the XXL engine, once the GR goes it will hurt it bad and don't forget that a larger engines mean more crit hits.
Not good at all. |

Well, twelve shots are not what I would call staying power (not to mention that all ammo bins are in arms), but for a trial it's sufficient. The problem lies in an expensive XXL engine which is fragile and makes the 'Mech vulnerable. So it's only a gauss monster with unnecessary flaws. I'm not going to argue about the fluff, but wolves probably don't have the resources needed to build this in significant numbers. There are better 'Mechs than this one for them, for this price they may get four Warhawks. |
