Though being much better than the -1A this mech has its problems too.
The weapons can deliver a hard punch against targets at short to medium range while the large laser is still able to reach out.
But heat is still a problem as is the MRM on a Davion mech.
As was said before an RAC/5 with 60shots and some more heat sinks would have been much better. |

Where's the RAC?
And that MRM is not supposed to be there, this is a Davion mech, not a DCMS design!
As it stands, it has two effective range brackets and the one close in builds up lots of heat while the medium/long range bracket is a joke.
There are better mechs for the same price. |

Utter crap, plus i don't see how Davion is getting MRMs anytime soon. MRMs are some of the worst weapons around.
The mech also carries 3 tons of ammo, without CASE. That is major problem if ammo goes off. |

I think that Davions would rater install one (or more) of their RAC toys than MRMs on their mechs. The accuracy and range are almost the same and while not entirely reliable, they would help with the heat management. 10 DHSs are barely sufficient to handle the LL and MRMs and even firing one of the big guns with ER meds produces heat, so the needs some additional DHSs, or a weapons change. Base chassis seems to be tough enough to cause some trouble to the enemy, but the other thing pull the mech down. No lvl 3 items found. |
