Pretty decent. Improving the armor coverage will extend the lifespan of this mech on the battlefield. However, the armor is still thin enough to keep the mech vulerable to engine hits, thanks in part to the XL engine.
That aside, the weapons array is moderate for its weight range. The ER PPC is a solid weapon, and though it lacks the range or damage of the clan models, it is still a reliable design. The trio of medium lasers provides a good mid to close range threat, while the Streaks will perform slightly better than the original Streak-2. This, of course, assumes that the mech will achieve lock on with the SRMs.
Heat is going to be the main bugbear of this design. The mech can perform an alpha strike, but must then contend with the fact that it will move slower and be less accurate. If its alpha strike fails to kill the target outright, its going to be very very vulerable to return fire. |

Nice refit. Additional armor and weapons changes make sense, heat management should be easy. I like. |
