Okay the one question you didn't answer was why did the AFFC need this mech?
Overall the design is well done, but is it really needed in the AFFC? |

Solid Omnimech with good speed and firepower. Up close i believe it actually packs a heavier punch then it's clan equivalent. It's also less vulnerable to ammo problems as only the LB AC uses ammo.
My only worry is the XL engine. But you can't have that kind of speed without it.
good one. |

Although I generally do not like XL engines, this 'mech makes good use of one to make it mobile, and carries a thick load of armor. As long as this one stays "on the bounce" it ought to be a tough 'mech to kill. The medium laser quad is a nice touch. With its high mobility and thick armor this should be a dangerous in-fighter, but it might have made sense to spread your lasers out a little more. Having a few of them packed in with your AC ammo to soak critical hits might have been a good idea. Right now a shot to the left torso is going to hit either engine or ammo...not a good situation. CASE would be a plus as well. |

Fast, maneuverable, well armed and armored. Good base for omni, even with limited crit. space. Heat dissipation is sufficient too. Alpha strikes may over heat it, especially in combination with jumping, but it's not so problematic. |
