Well...
it gets half a point for armor and another half point for uniqueness...and its not very likely to overheat.
Its weapons are B.B. guns for the most part though. With so much space dedicated to ammunition you could shift a ton from AC ammo to AMS ammo to give the AMS a longer battlefield lifespan. |

For mech of this size it possesses only light firepower, quite similar to ten tons lighter Great Wyrm. It's ACs have a lot of ammo, almost too much. This asks for ammo explosion. I would drop one ton for an additional laser or larger LRM rack (that would use some more ammo). TC for LB guns isn't much useful, because cluster ammo cannot benefit from it. To summarize this, Mamaluk is durable and well armored, but low speed and long ranged, but light firepower took it far from fierce fighting machine, most clan and IS opponents won't have problems with closing on it and even some lvl 1 mechs may threaten it easily. |

Pathetic..
THere are Clan light mechs with better firepower.. and Inner Sphere mediums come to think of it..
On its side it's accurate and a damned nuisance with its twin LBs, and its relatively affordable. Protection is also top notch.. but once again.. losuy firepower. |
