Not really much I can say that hasn't already been said by my peers. This mech however, if given a different name, I believe holds a certain amount of potential as a prototype. Therefore, an updated improved version is something that I would be looking forwad to. But doing that will definetily require that you drastically change the fluff as well. |

This mech was probably submitted before Kalo read reviews that criticize touching fixed crits on omni. Otherwise the mech would deserve even lower rating , because it changes location of FF, engine type, amount of armor and number of heat sinks. Heat sinks allow using only two lasers at once without overheating (and sometimes LRMs), so two lasers are useless. By the way it's Warhawk, so it should have TC. At least it's very tough, but loosing RA turns it to well armored light mech. It isn't Warhawk, and the mech itself has severe problems. |

This is NOT an omnimech. It is also no longer a Warhawk.
Reasons?
a) You can't replace the engine on an OmniMech. The Warhawk's original engine is a 340 XL (XL XL XL) not a standard engine.
b) You can't change the armour either. Its 13.5 tons not 14. You can't just bolt armour on.
C) Heat Sinks. The WarHawks base configuration has 20 double heat sinks. You CANNOT take them out.
Ok.. that should settle that this is NO LONGER the Warhawk.
Your mech as it is DOES NOT have "an increase in heat efficiency" 4 ER LLs generate 48 heat. The LRM pumps out another 6. 54 - 28 equals 26. This means many rolls to prevent shutdown and ammo explosions. Which thanks to the LRM 20 is a good possibility.
Two, the loss of the targeting computer means that this porrly though out monster loses accuracy, which was always the strong point of the Warhawk that it claims kinship to.
Three, empty torsos may look good, but having all your weapons in your arms is asking to lose them.
You have ALL four ER LLs in the right arm. All i need is to stay on your right side or get a lucky hit, and you will lose your main arsenal.
An absolutely stupid useless design.
