Despite the Gauss rifle this 'mech is undergunned for its weight class. Also, the configuration does not feel very Centurion-like. |

I both like and dislike this mech. For one, I like the durability of this design when compared to other Clan designs. The speed is adequate and that is a lot of ammo fo that pretty gauss rifle. Perhaps too much ammo for my taste though. And while this mech feels decently armed, for a 55 ton clan mech, I would have expected a better firepower curve. Thankfully the low cost of this design offsets this weakness somewhat.
My biggest complaint is with the name. This mech does not seem like a Centurion at all. While it could be made to resemble one, I feel as though the missing LRM's really hurt this design's name.
Not a badmech at all but it unfortunately leaves a nasty taste in my mouth so i can't rate it to high. (Maybe I should stop chewing on metal?) |

I doubt that clan would devote resources to recreate the Cent. ES structure is considered to be factory refit, so it cannot be packed to easy refit kit. AMS is good, but the mech lacks the LRMs that were installed on common old models. The gauss is good addition, but this amount of ammo is really huge. And most Centurions have only 50t, additional time must be devoted to this conversion. Technically walking gauss with ammo truck attached to it, not much Cent-like. |
