For a weapon that can cover 19th hex and three hexes of PPC minimum range the ER Large laser takes up a lot of space. If it was meant to do anything else then it's a poor competitor for the PPCs. Overall it seems even worse than the other variants. Since the rest of the chassis is pretty solid the weapons chosen jut make it in to a mediocre assault 'Mech. |

Oh! Another I-have-three-weapons-but-can-fire-only-two-of-them-Mech.
All weapons have similar range and damage so the only reason to fire the ER laser is to defend itself at close range. But i wouldn´t mount a large ER laser to do that.
The slight range advantage isn´t worth it. |

My favorite named of the Hatamotos, it is still a combat dissapointment IMHO. Sure the ERLL can be fired in close, but putting all your eggs in one basket is asking to have them broken so you go hungry... or in this case so you get very very dead. Works well as a long range energy boat, but let them fast mechs get in close and you're still gonna get beat down more often than not. Extra 0.5 for the cool name. |

Could you pick a weapon, please.
The ER laser produces more heat for less damage an a whopping extra hex of range. Probably the only saving grace for this mech is enough heat sinks to fire both PPCs simultaneously without risking overheat. But only the PPCs. Alpha strikes are going to kill this thing deader than a Kennedy and fast.
This mech desperately needs to pick a weapon system, because as is, its more of a threat to itself than anyone or anything else. |

Well...I guess the ER Large lets it hit the enemy at nineteen hexes...becides that, it seems basicially pointless except as a backup if one of the arms gets blown to smitherines. |
