The concept must be rated positively, but the chassis is too slow to avoid counter-battery fire and too lightly armored to withstand it. lack of secondary weapons, cost and only ten rounds don't allow it to stray too far from main elements, that can take something cheaper and heavier with them. |

Vulnerable expensive and low on armour. Just about every artillery light mech is vulnerable, all but the Pferdman are expensive, and ALL of them are low on armour.
Basically you've put together a decent design. I'm not fond of the Light Engine but, thats more due to my factions prefered weapons.
I honestly can't see it surviving many harsh conditions BUT, used right it might be able to turn the tide of battle. Too slow for my campaigning tastes. I prefer 4/6 at a minimum. Jump jets options but loved as well. At 3/5 your pretty much going to be smoked when the battlelines change with any significance. 4/6 or 4/6/4 or 5/8 you've at least got a chance to pull that expensive mech out of the fire. |

Interesting concept. Cheap artillery for difficult terrain. I can see a group flying in the dropship, sending out the main force and leaving a couple of these back near the ship with a couple of defensive mechs for protection. The big downside of courese is that without friends, this thing is toast. |
