The weapon-combination doesn´t seem bad but it has neither the speed nor the armor to close to AC/20 range for a slugout.
But such a big gun will get you the respect of your opponents. |

The mech seems a little strange. LRMs and a BIG gun can be quite useful when it plays a secondary role to a fire support LRM units. When the Archers keep sending missiles toward the enemy, cent just wanders around and spits some missiles, but woe betide anyone getting too close. AC/20 shots can quickly crush almost anything lighter than assault class battlemechs, especially when the target had to get through LRM barrage. The Ac doesn't have ammo needed to take part in combat directly, but in this role it may be devastating. |

Hang back with this one and support any firesupport heavies in the barraging. If someone tries to get close, drill him with the AC-20.
This a good team player mech but it needs lots of ammo. So keep those J-27s handy. |

Positively lethal in close. but the light armour and the low speed means its relagated to city defence near ammo dumps.
Personally most of the heavy scout mechs can out range this thing and destroy it long before the AC 20 comes into play.
But like others have said an AC 20 must always be respected. |

ah, if the LRM's were replaced with more ammo, and the AC/20 was replaced with a Pontiac UAC/20, and you put claws on the left hand, it would be the spitting image of Yen-Lo-Wang, my favorite mech. |
