This mech is quite similar to my 8G upgrade kit (I realized it later). It is good replacement of the original (not an upgrade kit) with some useful electronics and JJs that help it in urban battle. |

Its an all around through upgrade of the Hunchback for a low cost. Which is most impressive.
The fact you can split your ammo between 2 to 1 with cluster and slug is a useful trick. Jump jets are a good use for a in close mech allowing you to mug in cities better.
It gets bonus marks in my books for the Guardian/C3 Slave combo as its most impressive. |

I love it! It is sooo the hunchback I am used to.
It has just a few, but very important upgrades. I love the extra ton of ammo, that, to me is more important than the actual upgrade of the cannon!
This 'mech can handle the heat from the ER lasers, so they are ok. C3, great. JJ, often a waste, but in this urban-combat design also a good one (especially now that you have an extra ton of ammo to play around with).
The only thing keeping this from a higher mark is that it retains a severe flaw from the original Hunchback - it only mounts 4 pts of armour in the rear that covers that AC! (though, flavour-wise, kudos to you for keeping the actual armour configuration) |

Nice Variant. Gives the Hunchback a little more options on mission profiles.
I rate it a 3.5, its a 50 ton heavy hitter. I'd use it if the mission called for it. |
