Don't like this.
The weapons just deliver what i want from an Assault (nothing special about it), it costs a lot due to the XL and it is totally dependent on ammo. |

Ammo Addict. Definitely. Sure, on paper, two LBX and two LRMs can dish out some nice damage, and having them slaved to a C3 net is gravy. But once that ammo is gone, someone is going to make sure to scotch this thing Right Now.
Little tip. If your big guns havent killed all the badguys by the time they run dry, what do you think that small laser is going to accomplish?
Fire support for definite, but keep a couple dozen J-27s handy to keep this thing fed. |

Poster boy for C3 slave units i supposed, just be prepared to run once you start seeing your lb autocannons with only 5 shots left.
The loss of the lasers, will be sorely felt here. A small remedy will be dropping 2 tons of LRM and 1 ton of LB-10x ammo for 3 medium lasers.
Sure you will have less shots to screw around with but you are not helpless when something closes on you. |

To tell the truth I loved the machine with the AC 2s, I have far too much luck with them at long ranges to discount them. Now its a blah machine, that costs too much and doesn't even have a niche.
Its only effective in like a 2 hex band around its opponent, any closer or farther away and its meat.
Far too specialized to matter. Just skip it and take an Archer or something else. |

No better than the original, but at least they got rid of the AC-2s. You're going to miss the lasers though when this runs out of ammo. |
