Nice and rugged variant with a good weapon mix. The ER-PPC's can make good use of the C3-network while standard engine, full armor and CASE provide the needed staying power. It got slower though but the jump jets add a good deal of mobility. All in all much better than its rather poor predecessor. |

Very nice. No XL mean long life but it still packs a punch as well. The jump jets make up for the drop in speed. My only real complaint would be the armor. I always thought that 15.5 tons were the max capacity for 80 ton bipeds. |

Essentially a Thug reborned, this mech is one bad mutha. Classic simplicty, go make the big holes with the ERPPCs, then throw in the Streaks for crit seeking + the lasers for more holes. Pure joy for the pilot.
the C3 slave is even sweeter so make sure there is a Tai Sho to make use of em.
The lack of an XL engine is a very good thing in my book. Granted it wont carry the firepower comparable to XL engine assaults, but he will take a long time to die and make sure the enemy feels it first. |

Reminds me of a slow jumping thug.
Not a great design but its still combat viable in 3060. Just remember to have a C3 lancemate who has LRMs or some other ranged weapon to protect you sometimes. The dual ER PPCs do a good job usually though.
Its a slugger with a standard engine and 16 tons of armour. Its going to dish out a lot of pain before it goes down. Not sure if its useful against clanners too much though. |
