I love this design. Just love it. Manuverable, long firing, well armored, Heavy damage up close, a good long range weapon to fire while closing. What is not to like? The grasshopper has to be one of the best mechs you can find in 3025 tech. |

Very interesting take on the 3025 Grasshopper.
A bigger maingun with some more range and an additional medium laser to make up for the PPC's min range. Sure, it gets hot if all weapons are fired but there is no ammo any more to worry about.
At long range it has an more concentrated punch and up close it delivers almost the same firepower as the original. I like it. |

Decent speed and the jump jets give it good mobility while the all energy weapons array means that the pilot doesn't have to worry about ammo limits and expolsions. Its runs very hot if you alpha strike while jumping but you can fire either the full Medium Laser array or the PPC with no major worries. My favorite 3025 mech. |

I don't believe it.
They improved on the Grasshopper.
Against most opponents in 3025 a single PPC is all the long range armament you need, and in close you can cycle in the mediums and ride the heat curve wherever you feel comfortable. There's no ammo to blow here either.
All in all, very nice. |

I'd strip out the heatsinks to get myself a small LRM rack and remember to only fire the PPC if your Mediums are out of range.
DarkAdder is just too used to clan DHS and alphas.
This is 3025 vintage firing lines.
A bit better than average because its a manuverable design in the heavy range. |
