I like this! A fast and jump-capable heavy with good firepower that gets more dangerous as it closes to the enemy.
The DAI-01's concept of a fast and heavy fire-support unit was dropped entirely.
Heat is not that much of a problem as long as you don't use all weapons and the jump-jets at once. An alpha-strike while running would be nice here and there. The C3-slave gives it the ability to snipe with its ER-PPC with the targeting data of a lance-mate nearby or to deliver those data for your buddies if fighting close itself. But all in all i would prefer a ton of armor instead of it! |

This mech works best with Panther's and missile boats in a C3 Company. It has the ER PPC to be useful at range, but in close it becomes more deadly and thats how it shines in that role.
As a standalone duelist I find it not so great, because she's got no real range he excels at, she's more of a filler design. Course in close you dish out a serious hurting as your 12 SRMs will only fire when they can hit and that'll start annoying others.
Just watch out for your XL engine. For it is thy weakness. |

A lot weaker than the original; the C3 link would be nice for this if it kept it's long range emphasis, but as it stands this is too fragile for front-line brawling. |

Now this guy would fit well into just about any C3 lance or company. Not built for ranged work, though, despite the presence of the ER PPC. At close ranges, the paired Streak racks are going to beat the coolant out of something. Lighter mechs would do well to avoid this thing, altogether, and even assault mechs would have to stop and think about tangling with this mech. Back this beast up with some C3 missile boats, and you could tackle just about anything. |
