Much better than the old Star League Bombardier. With Artemis and doubled ammo the LRMs will make a real impact on the battlefield especially if in a C3i-network.
As with most LRM boats defensive weaponry is only minimal and so it depends heavily on its lance-mates for close range protection.
The speed helps to switch positions quickly or to retreat if it runs out of missiles. The disadvantage of this speed is its expensive XL engine. |

Again downgrade the launchers, add more ammo and maybe squeeze in an ECM and throw on some more lasers then you have a slightly more viable mech design.

Take it if your desperate to fill out your C3i unit. Otherwise grab something else, because this unit is too dependant upon the enemy lacking ECM.
As soon as someone breaks out the ECM this mech will lose the C3i and suddenly be very very vulnerable in close. Also your ammo bins are really really light so be careful to aim before you start spraying LRMs everywhere. |

Once again, Comstar takes a good mech, ad makes it totaly dependant on the C3i link. On the surface, this thing looks like the perfect fire support mech. The twin LRMS are dangerous, even by clan tech standards. The ER small laser seems to be a last ditch defense weapon. Otherwise, this mech is totally reliant on its lancemates for close in suport. Yet another mech that Comstar has neutered for its nifty new C3i toy. |
