An XL engine transforms this old mech into a relatively fast iNarc delivery system.
The weaponry is still ok and the armor is stronger too but to choose an ultra AC as a main weapon was a rather bad idea as it is a bit unreliable. The added armor cannot counter the increased danger of the XL. Can be fun but can suck too! |

This mech will have trouble operating on it's own; it lacks reliable ranged firepower. The cannon is OK, but the range and ammo capacity are average (at best) and a jam leaves the mech with medium lasers.
On its own this will need to get pretty close to do it's work, but the armor is light and it carries an XL engine. As part of a network, it can stand off a bit and help out with iNARC, but shouldn't get too close itself.
It's not too bad, if teamed with a good spotter and some missile support mechs. Unfortunately, enemy ECM coverage will _really_ degrade its utility. |

Although upgraded, this thing still seems weak, somehow. The iNarc and C3i link let it do some nice work as part of a C3i net, but the mech lacks something that lets it operate independantly, though I cant put my finger on what.... |
