It seems to be very difficult for the Lyrans to produce a good COM variant. Just take a look at the -3A or -5S! The speed is still too slow without jump-jets and the armor is even worse. The firepower isn't bad though, but i cannot understand why they put an SRM-4 Artemis in instead of two more streak-2's, you can even drop a ton of ammo as 50 shots for 4 launchers is enough due to the ammo-conserving streak-technology. Better take a ton of armor for that. At least the Commando hasn't any heat problems now. |

Not the best refit. The light armor is a major liability for a slowish close range 'Mech. The firepower isn't too bad, although it's a little light. A Streak 4 weighs just as much as an SRM 4 + Artemis. So why not the Streak? That and the light armor bring this down quit a bit, but it's not quite so crippled that it can't do it's job. Just barely mediocre, but mediocre it is. |

Yet another refit for Steiner that makes no sense.
The original Commando had the armour to duke it out.
THis strips out the armour which was its saving grace for more weapons.
Does Steiner Command have a brain? |

On paper, this thing might work. In reallity, its easy meat. The armor is laughable. The weapons are the only thing going for this mech. |

The speed is low the armour is weak.the weapon load is indifferant at best.Load the quad rack with infernos and you have a passable vehicle fighter but against other mechs this thing will become badly minced mint flavoured dog food |
