Overview:
    In the late 3140’s, in an attempt to make the most of their industrial output, Clan
    Hell’s Horses’ leadership directed their scientists and technicians to revisit the many
    older OmniMech designs they were still constructing, and determine what measures could be
    implemented to make them more effective. When examining the vintage Gargoyle 80 ton
    OmniMech, it was determined that most configurations did not utilize the vast amount of heat
    dissipation afforded by the built-in heat sink system of that design, and the lack of
    endo-steel internals also limited its payload. Alleviating these two constraints nearly
    doubled the payload of the machine, making the resulting machine truly deadly on the
    battlefield.

Capabilities:
    Alternate Configuration G can deliver devastating blows between its improved heavy large
    laser and massive rack of Advanced Tactical Missiles, but even with 6 extra heat sinks, it
    will quickly become overwhelmed by heat if the MechWarrior piloting it is not judicious in
    his weapon choices. Two extended-range medium lasers and two plasma cannons fed by three
    tons of ammunition can generate similar amounts of heat as the large laser and ATM rack, and
    only a portion of the combined heat can be quickly alleviated by the 16 double strength heat
    sinks. Therefore, most pilots will not utilize the plasma cannons against ‘Mechs;
    conserving them for armor and softer targets.
