Overview:
Designed by Clan Diamond Shark as the purest expression of their totem animal, the totemic
Diving Shark is designed for underwater combat first and foremost. While it does have
considerable long-range capability, it is considered a striker due to its light armor and
the fact its damage is maximized when close-in.
Capabilities:
The Diving Shark uses a LRT-15 launcher as its long-range option, while for short range two
SRT-6s are brought to bear. As an emergency option a Medium Pulse Laser is also installed,
which is the only weapon it can bring to bear outside of water; as such, it is only seen in
sea warfare.
4 UMUs allow the 'Mech to move as fast underwater as it can run on the surface.
Variants:
Diving Fox: A medium-weight version made after the return to using the Sea Fox as the
Merchant Clan's totem animal. It is also more capable if forced to surface.
