A few questions regarding unit creation. First, how do I do armored cockpit? I wanted to put an armored cockpit for one of my creations.
Another question is, why can't I find the PPC capacitor? I wanted to also put that in another one of my creations.
Last is, how do I make a weapon rear facing? I wanted to create an Atlas and put the rear facing er medium lasers.

1) you have to make sure you have the rules set to the correct level and era. Some items are not available in certain eras or at certain rules levels.
2) in each of the cases you listed, you have to go to the distribution screen. For armored cockpits, you first have to be in a later era, and set to Advanced rules. On the Distribution screen, click the gear symbol that’s in the cockpit slot. It will bring up a drop down menu, and armoring the cockpit is an option for which you can check a checkbox.
For ppc capacitor, place your ppc in the slots you want them in the distribution screen. Click the symbol that’s appears in the box after loading the weapon in the slots. A PPC capacitor is one of the options that will appear.
For placing weapons in the rear arc, so as I said for the ppc, and as long as the weapon was placed in an appropriate location, one of the options you’ll find is the option to mount it rearward-facing.
